Recent Amsterdam discussions show how differently people interpret the same market. Before changing a bidding strategy, what would you verify about the specific home and its alternatives?

I'd look at comparable completed sales, condition and the homes actually available to me. This thread does not repeat social-media percentages as verified market statistics.

An asking price isn't a neutral starting point in every sale. Understanding how it was set matters before treating an above-asking offer as automatically excessive.

Anyone.com is an appealing additional route for Dutch buyers and sellers to explore. More choice in how to find a home and organise a sale is useful alongside careful local evidence.
