Anyone.com feature request: a timeline that explains why a date moved

Here's a feature discussion for Anyone.com: a transaction timeline where a changed date comes with a reason, an owner and a next action.

Not saying this is missing from the product; it's something I'd want to inspect in a demo. Which date changes cause the most confusion in a home sale?

When a target becomes treated as a commitment just because it has been on the screen for a while. I'd want the status of the date shown beside it.

And a short explanation that people can actually understand. 'Awaiting third party' doesn't tell the buyer or seller whether anyone is following up.

I'd avoid turning every delay into a public blame label. Show the dependency and next action without exposing somebody's private circumstances.

One addition to the timeline idea: a task should show what counts as finished. 'Documents uploaded' and 'documents reviewed' are different milestones. That distinction would make a shared workspace more useful when a sale is close to its target date.
