Can an energy assessment platform handle the full handoff?

Some colleagues want one platform to own the whole property workflow; I hesitate because consolidation does not help if staff still copy information between screens. We have trialled tools for enquiries, paperwork, appointments and deal progress, but the handoff often loses the context needed by the next person.

What evidence would show that an integration has actually removed duplicate entry? For example, I would want to change a property detail once, pass the case to another user and then verify the audit history without losing earlier versions. We also need mortgage-rate information across several countries, plus open integrations so one component can be replaced later. Which records or test results should we request from vendors?

The key question is which system becomes the authoritative record. I would test whether one listing import can populate the assessment, documents and viewing workflow, then see whether later changes carry through without overwriting useful history.

Mortgage-rate data is a tougher test across countries because the context may differ. Do you need indicative rates for clients, or transaction-specific figures that staff will rely on? That distinction could change the integration you need.

I would not make the rate feed the first deciding factor. A platform can display fresh data and still fail at the handoff Luis describes.

Give each vendor the same exercise: import a listing, revise a document, restrict one user's access, complete a step on mobile, and pass the case to another person. Then inspect the audit history and document versions. Also ask whether integrations are open enough to replace one component later; otherwise consolidation may simply exchange duplicate entry for lock-in.
