I’m choosing between several agent proposals for a London townhouse expected to sell around £202,800. The fee structures differ, and the cheapest package leaves out several transaction tasks. The highest includes photography, buyer qualification, negotiation and coordination through closing.
How would you compare them on something more useful than the headline fee? I’m considering recent comparable sales, response times, offer handling, fall-through support and whether the named contact actually keeps the file after listing. I’d also like to know what to ask about conflicts or referral relationships. First-hand London perspectives are welcome.
