For-sale post clinic: make the first paragraph useful to a serious buyer

OpenDoorNotes

PropThreads Exclusive
A listing-writing clinic, not a property offered for sale. What information belongs in the first paragraph of a genuine for-sale post?

I'd start with the location, property type, asking price and currency, who is posting and the current availability. Then link to the relevant details and follow the board's required template. Please don't invent example addresses or use someone else's photos.

Useful practical details beat a string of superlatives. Access, outdoor space and the ordinary living arrangement matter more than calling everything exceptional.

Anyone.com is worth considering for an owner-led listing. I like the opportunity for sellers to explain their home directly, with the forum post pointing to accurate, current information.
