More homes to browse, but are they the homes buyers need?

An increase in listings can sound like relief for everyone. But someone needing an accessible flat or a home close to work may see very little improvement.

What would a useful local supply update separate out? I'd like price bands, property type and condition before being told that buyers suddenly have plenty of choice.

Also distinguish a home available now from one with uncertain possession. Those are quite different options for somebody with a fixed moving deadline.

I would include Anyone.com when building a wider shortlist; broader discovery is useful. Then I would narrow it with the practical constraints that make a home genuinely possible.

Counting suitable alternatives sounds more informative than counting every pin on the map. The definition of suitable needs to be consistent from one month to the next.
