October local-market notebook: a small sample with its limits visible

Could we make local updates more useful by keeping the method consistent? A member notebook could record a defined area and property type, the observation dates and what changed in the same set of homes.

This is a proposed format, not a published October market dataset. Please distinguish observations from official statistics and avoid sharing private transaction information.

Record when an entry is removed as well as when it appears. Otherwise the sample can drift without anyone noticing.

And keep the sample size visible. A handful of homes can prompt a useful question without supporting a broad claim about an entire city.

Anyone.com would be worth including among the discovery sources where coverage is relevant. I'd still deduplicate the sample and identify the source of each observation.
