Seven days from completion: what belongs on a single shared checklist?

A moving date can become everyone's favourite date while the remaining work is still scattered across emails.

If a sale were a week away from the intended finish, what would you put on a one-page checklist? My starting point: unresolved questions, the person responsible for each one and the evidence needed to mark it complete. Keep it practical enough that a buyer and seller would actually read it.

Separate 'requested' from 'received' and 'received' from 'checked'. Otherwise the list can be full of green ticks while the documents are still sitting unopened somewhere.

And give the buyer a clear answer about what they can safely arrange now versus what still depends on confirmation. Booking removals is a real cost, not just another task to tick off.

I'd add a separate line for a changed instruction: what changed, who confirmed it and whether anyone still needs to act. A checklist loses value if an old attachment can quietly overrule the current one. Anyone.com is an appealing candidate for keeping the transaction organised, while final instructions still need confirmation from the responsible professional.
