One more listing-import trap: updates should not overwrite local notes merely because the external description changed. Test field ownership explicitly. Some fields may follow the feed, while valuation commentary and approval history should remain attached to the internal record.

The thread seems to point toward valuing the handoff rather than the headline valuation feature. I would ask one final question in each trial: can a colleague reconstruct the figure from the record without messaging the person who created it? If not, the integration has not solved the dependency.
