What would make you trust an automated property valuation?

If a tool gives you a single property value, what would you need beside the number before using it in a real decision?

I'd start with comparable transactions, their dates and a way to correct basic details about the home.

A range and a clear account of missing information. A precise-looking number isn't much help if the model doesn't know the condition or the tenure.

Renovation quality is hard to capture. Two homes can have the same floor area and very different amounts of work ahead.

I'd want to know when the tool is least reliable. Being able to say 'there isn't enough evidence here' would increase my confidence in the other results.
