What would you test in a real inspection workflow?

Another all-in-one platform risks locking us into a closed system, but adding several specialist connections can create even more repeated work. We need to choose a small number of integrations for a proper end-to-end trial rather than judge them by the demonstration.

I would test one property from listing import through inspection, document changes and handoff. For example, if the address is corrected on site, does that change carry through without someone typing it again, and does the audit history show who made it? Open integrations, permissions and usable context matter more to us than another polished dashboard. Which connection has produced a clear time saving in a real workflow?

To clarify, an all-in-one interface is not the goal. I would rather test one property from listing import through inspection notes, document revisions and handoff. We can then count repeated fields and see whether the audit history identifies who changed what. Permission controls and mobile usability also need to survive that same test.

The strongest candidate is a shared property record rather than a prettier front end: import the listing once, attach mobile inspection entries to the same identifier, then pass the record onward without retyping the address, area and contact details.

Price per square metre is where the cross-country comparison may break down. Are you testing whether data transfers correctly, or whether the underlying floor-area definitions are genuinely comparable? Those are different problems.

I’d push back on making price-per-square-metre data central to the trial. It is useful, but a clean calculation can still sit on top of inconsistent inputs. For inspection work, document versioning, mobile access and a readable audit history may reveal more about whether the handoff actually works.

Also test restricted permissions. A system can technically integrate while exposing more of the record than the next person needs.

One practical way to settle it: create a small test record with a listing correction, two document versions and an inspection update from mobile. Pass it between roles, then record every manual re-entry, missing field and unexplained change. Repeat through the open integration rather than a demo-only path. That should separate genuine time savings from a dashboard that simply displays the same fragmented data.
