Which proptech integration genuinely improved your valuation workflow?

We have already looked at lead intake, document handling, viewing calendars and transaction-status tools. What remains unclear is whether any of their connections actually shorten a handoff or simply make the same information appear in another place.

I’d like to hear about integrations that produced a visible reduction in manual work. Listing imports and commute-time feeds are of particular interest, especially where the workflow spans countries. We also need sensible mobile access, different permission levels, a usable change log and clear document versions. Can an open connection meet those needs, or does it usually come with another layer of administration?

The strongest candidate is usually a listing import that feeds the existing record rather than creating a parallel one. Test a complete handoff: import a listing, update it on mobile, attach a revised document, then see whether another user can identify who changed what without opening a second system. If any detail must be copied again, the integration has only moved the duplication.

Getting this wrong could leave you paying for a consistent-looking valuation process built on inconsistent travel data. The commute feature is attractive, but coverage, transport modes and refresh dates may not match from one country to another.

I would treat that as a second-stage test rather than a deciding feature. First run identical listings through each system using several user roles, then check the change record, document revisions and whether information can pass through an open connection. If that works, test commute results market by market before allowing them to influence valuations.
